Type 1 Fitness – Website Design

The Problem

Type 1 Fitness; a personal training brand led by coach Keith Egan had built a strong client base locally but lacked an online platform to grow and serve clients remotely.

There was no website, no booking system for personal training sessions, and no way to share nutrition guidance or sell branded products. Without a central hub, they were missing leads and limiting reach.

The Solution

Using bold visuals, clear copy, and structured content, I designed and developed a full-featured website that includes:

A high-impact homepage hero with call-to-action for class sign-ups

  • A Services page separating online classes and personal training options

  • A clean layout to promote nutrition guidance and custom meal plans

  • A dedicated shop section for apparel and gym gear

  • User-friendly navigation and CTAs like “Book a Class” and “Join Us” for better conversion

  • Responsive design for mobile and desktop users, plus secure

What I Learned

  • Simplicity matters users want clarity when it comes to booking or learning about services

  • Responsive design and easy CTAs make all the difference in fitness websites

  • A fitness brand isn’t just about physical training it’s about communicating mindset and results

  • Clear content strategy is key when building sites for hybrid (online/offline) services integrations for bookings and payments

The Goal

  • To build a visually striking, easy-to-navigate website that would:

  • Offer online class booking and 1-on-1 PT requests

  • Clearly explain services like personal training, online coaching, and nutrition plans

  • Provide a space to promote and sell Type 1 Fitness merchandise

  • Reflect the brand’s bold, athletic energy and mindset-driven philosophy

The Outcome

  • Type 1 Fitness now has a powerful online presence to match its on-the-ground impact

  • Visitors can book classes, request training, or explore nutrition support in just a few clicks

  • Branded products now have a home, boosting visibility and merch sales

  • Users better understand the full offering and Keith can focus on training, not admin
